rewriting your story

How familiar does the following scenario sound to you? You’re ready to step out of your comfort zone, but as soon as you get really close the voices in your head tell you something different.  Or, you limit yourself by deciding you can't do something before you even start. This is actually your inner critic limiting you from reaching your goals and dreams. Silencing this inner critic isn’t easy -- trust me, if it was everyone would do it! 

How many times have your told yourself...

‘Who am I to...?’

'It needs to be perfect before...'

'Everyone will think...'

'I'm too old...'

'What if...?'

I will be the first person to admit that up until a few years ago I used to do this quite often. Then I discovered how powerful our words and thoughts really are. When my inner critic was telling me “no” or “you can’t”, this negativity was manifesting in reality and left me feeling stuck and frustrated.

This Women’s Self Care event is all about rewriting your story, about taking a pause to uncover the thoughts, words and beliefs that are holding you back. Once we explore and raise awareness to the stories we are telling ourselves, we will identify where we are feeling stuck and what steps we can take to rewrite our personal narrative.

Throughout the day you will be surrounded by nature, supportive women, guided meditation, breath work and group exercises to aid in your journey. It is my goal that by the end of the workshop you feel empowered by your thoughts and beliefs and have a new perspective on taking action towards your desired goals and dreams.

So, will you allow your beliefs to be the reason you stop taking action towards what you want from life? Or are you ready to re-write the beliefs you are living by?
